Mary Gersten - Education Versus PassionEducation versus Passion- So many times people think that to be successful, the main thing they need is education. I’m certainly not going to down play education, but many, many people think that is the key to success. Now certainly education is a contributing factor, but it’s not the most important factor. The key, or the main ingredient, to success is your attitude. Attitude is the real determining factor in whether you will find success. When your attitude is driven by your passions, there is nothing you can’t achieve.
My children really wanted to get a cat, but I wear a lot of black clothes. So I told them that we’re not going to get a cat unless it’s black. So, after looking for a black kitten, they finally had a friend whose cat had kittens and one of them was black. So, we got a kitten. It’s been very interesting. This cat is so unique and so different than any other cat that I’ve ever heard of. He likes to climb on my shoulder like a parrot. He likes to lie down right on top of my face when he’s ready to sleep. And he loves to watch the toilet flush. He loves it so much that he’s obsessed with the bathrooms. He has to be in the bathroom with you while you’re in there so he can watch the toilet flush. Then he was so excited about watching the toilet flush that he started trying to flush it himself. Next he started throwing things in the toilet like his cat toys. And then, eventually, he started using it on his own. It’s just really amusing because I didn’t even really try to train him to do this. I’ve heard that there are some kits you can buy that can train your cat to use the toilet. But we did absolutely no training; we didn’t try at all. It just kind of happened on its own because of his own interest.
Similarly, sometimes people do something because they’ve learned how to do it. They got the training. They went through the education. And then other people just kind of stumble on something because it’s a passion or a love and no one really taught them at all. They just learned it on their own. One of the biggest differences between the one method as opposed to the other is that the drive may be much stronger for someone who stumbled on something out of passion than those who just got the training.
In our society, many times people who we think are the most successful, like doctors or attorneys, get to that level of success through education. And people think of them as the most successful people in our nation, and it’s simply not true. The most successful people in our nation are actually business owners and entrepreneurs. These are people who most often started their business with nothing but an idea they believed in, like the Bill Gates and the Warren Buffets of our nation. They are by far the wealthiest of all people. They are far wealthier than attorneys and doctors and other professions. They found that wealth by following their passion and allowing that passion to drive them in a direction toward success.
My cat had no idea what he was doing. He just loves the toilet. He was just playing around with it - stumbled on it. He was just obsessed. We couldn’t keep him out of the bathroom. As a matter of fact, one of my daughter’s friends thought it would be really funny to flush the toilet with the lid shut so he couldn’t actually see it flush. She kept flushing it and he went crazy jumping all over the toilet because he couldn’t see it, and he really wanted to watch it. That’s what happens when you have that passion. You don’t really know exactly what you are doing. You just feel driven. I seriously doubt that Bill Gates or a Warren Buffet had an exact plan in the beginning of how things were going to happen. They had no way to know for sure if they were going to be successful or how everything was going to unfold. They just had their passion. If you want success in your life, tap into your passion. What are you passionate about? If you let your passions drive your attitude, you will have your engine revved and running to pursue success. Then you just need to get on the right the path. Mary Gersten and Global Cash Flow Network Make a Difference Raising Money For Charitable CausesMary Gersten and Global Cash Flow Network Make A Difference Raising Money For Charitable Causes After taking a couple days to learn more about the company, I had another opportunity to speak with Mary Gersten about the company Global Cash Flow Network. I was happy to learn that aside from its revolutionary media placement tutorials, the company also found the means to donate something to the community. That’s where we began today. Craig James: I learned recently that Global Cash Flow Network is putting it’s earned success to good use. What can you say about the company’s charitable acts? Mary Gersten: Well, recently I attended a charity breakfast held by the Boys and Girls Club. We were there to make a pledge for a donation. As a matter of fact, the director there challenged our company to match the Wells Fargo donation. Wells Fargo pledged $10,000 so we matched their pledge. Although it was really funny because they had one of those giant checks, you know, but it wasn’t signed. So I had said, ‘We’re going to match the Wells Fargo donation except ours is going to be signed.’ It was a wonderful experience. They had several teenagers there that talked about how their lives were changed by the Boys and Girls Club. The Boys and Girls Club is an outreach program basically towards troubled teens. There are a lot of teens that are in households of single mothers that work a lot and maybe don’t have a father involved at all with their children. CJ: Single mother is something you can relate to. Mary Gersten: Right. The kids are out on the streets getting into trouble and that kind of thing. It was amazing hearing the stories of how these kids lives were salvaged and set on the right path. One of them is now graduating from college. It’s a wonderful thing to feel, as a company, that we can help reach out to troubled to teens to help make their lives better as well as the customers that we’re training and showing them how place media to be successful. CJ: In my research, I found http://certifiedmediaplacementspecialist-factorfiction.com/, which showed a lot of the success that your customers have achieved with the Certified Media Placement Specialist program. What is it about this program that’s made people this successful? Mary Gersten: The truth is I can’t make anyone be successful. Ultimately it’s up to them. A lot of people, honestly, get our program and just do nothing with it. And because of that, they get nothing. The people who are most successful with our program have taken our marketing training to a whole other level and applied all of the techniques. They found a way to make it all work with what we’re teaching. They’ve just had tremendous success.” CJ: Personally, what have you applied with your program to help you achieve the success you have?
Mary Gersten: The company has grown just so fast and I want to feel as a leader, that I’m equipped to handle my time wisely and make wise decisions. So I’m actually attending a seminar that’s geared towards time management, running a business efficiently, effectively and systemizing. I don’t want to feel like I’m wasting my time on things that could be handled in better ways. I want to focus my energies on the areas that can develop our company to where we want to be in the future. You know, I don’t want to be bogged down by the day to day activities that can be handled by other people or could be handled with a better system.
CJ: What do you hope to learn from this seminar? Mary Gersten: I want to grow myself to run everything as effectively as possible. I believe that’s one of the keys to being successful. You have to be constantly be willing to learn and place yourself at the feet of someone who does it better. You have to educate yourself to grow as a person. I don’t think anyone just sits on their laurels. Everyone that I know that is successful is constantly striving to find ways to improve themselves or their businesses. They don’t just say “Well, I’ve reached where I want to be.” They’re constantly trying to grow as people and grow their business. That’s one of the things that’s I’m planning to do as much as possible. Even still, I’m researching other means of media that we haven’t addressed already in our manuals that are the cutting edge types of media that aren’t well known. So I have all of these things to help our customers, I can help myself, I can help my employees to grow and be better and better and what we’re doing. As we continue, I’m learning more and more about the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program, Mary Gersten, and Global Cash Flow Network. I hope you have enjoyed what we’ve shared thus far. As we continue these interviews, I invite your questions and comments. If you'd like to see if you qualify for the program feel free to visit http://www.becomeacmps.com

Mary Gersten, the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program and Failure...Welcome back everyone. After taking a brief tour of the Global Cash Flow Network offices and learning about the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program ( for which you all can see the pictures below), I sat down with Mary Gersten to begin our interview. It was interesting to see how far she’s come since we worked together, and I was eager to learn what she had done in the years since. More so, I was interested to learn more about this Certified Media Placement Specialist program. Read on for our first interview. Craig James: Well, Mary, you’ve certainly come a long way since our last job. I’ve read up on you and found that it hasn’t been an easy road getting here. Mary Gersten: There was a point where I had struggled quite a bit but I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to settle for anything less than success. CJ: You’ve certainly achieved that success with this CMPs program. What’s it been like managing this company? Mary Gersten: I believe, the best way to attain success is to find out how to be successful from people who are already successful. I’ve known people in the business. I started looking further into it by asking a lot of questions and ended up partnering to create this program. What’s great about it is that we aren’t giving people the opportunity to just make money like the traditional home-based business. It’s actually a training program for them to learn about media placement. We teach them all kinds of methods of media placement and this is the same type of media placement that very successful internet companies use. It’s not rocket science. It’s not extremely complicated. An average person could learn how to do it, it’s all just know-how. That’s what we do. We teach and give them the basics and know-how of media placement that a lot of people just don’t know how to do.” CJ: That’s interesting, because you had a lot to say about success in your most recent interview with Mark Hodges, owner of http://dont-get-scammed-again.com/. What was that like? Mary Gersten: It was a great experience. You know he’s an expert in his field. I was a little nervous at first of being interviewed by Mark Hodges, but once I started talking about the program and what we’re doing, it just really felt great. I realized what we have is a really great program. So there was nothing for me to be nervous about. It just went really well and I felt really good about it. The questions he asked were fair questions and we were able to give good answers. It was a real privilege to have his time to do that as well. CJ: There’s a lot to cover throughout these interviews. Since we don’t want to overload our readers here, is there anything you’d like to say in regards to how you think this is going? Mary Gersten: One thing I would have to take offense to: I read your introduction on the website and you said that I’ve gone from failure to success. CJ: Right. You mentioned something about my word choice there. Though I think we have different definitions for the word. Mary Gersten: I don’t think that I’ve been a failure. The business my ex-husband and I started together that he now owns and I got nothing for-he’s still running that business. It is a successful business. Being a single mother and struggling financially does not render me as a failure. It was difficult to start all over again and go out to try and find a job. Day care for four kids is outrageous. I struggled for quite awhile. But to me a failure is someone who completely gives up. They just stop trying. That’s a failure to me. I remember hearing about President Lincoln. He basically lost about every election that he ran for except for maybe one other one besides the presidency. No one would consider him a failure. I don’t think it’s the path that you take that determines your success or failure but where you end up in the long run.” Mary was very amicable during our sessions. Her candid nature made asking questions easier, knowing I would get the honest answers, not just what I wanted to hear. You can expect plenty more over the next few weeks as we start getting to the meat of the issue when we talk about the Certified Media Placement Specialist Program and Global Cash Flow Network. Thursday, November 23. 2006re- An office Tour with Mary and staff...
Mary Gersten was gracious enough for me to take some photo's in the office. Overall I find all the staff of Global Cash Flow Network polite, friendly and excited about what they do! Enjoy the photo tour... This first photo is the entrance of the office. Craig Suite204Level2SupportPicC.jpg Thursday, November 16. 2006re- Thank you Mary Gersten and Global Cash Flow Network“My husband and I want to thank Mary Gersten and Global Cash Flow Network. Since we got started just 8 weeks ago, I've been able to earn over $53,627.00. Now, getting into our dream house is no longer a dream... it's a REALITY. Thank you.” Having seen and read about a majority of the home-based business opportunities out there, the above testimonial for Mary Gersten and Global Cash Flow Network intrigued me. It’s a powerful statement to have earned that much using Mary’s Certified Media Placement Specialist program, but my initial interest quickly turned to skepticism. So, like any writer worth his salt, I sought out to weigh the facts and learn all I could about Mary Gersten, Global Cash Flow Network and the Certified Media Placement Specialist program also known as CMPS. Fortunately for me, I’ve known Mary for years working for another company before I left to follow my writing career. I knew her as a dedicated employee with a solid business sense. Though it interested me more to know how this CMPS program came about and more than that, what made it work. I’ve written under several pen names for many different publications since that time, but my interest in opportunities like this hasn’t dissipated. While I recognize that the possibilities are limitless, it’s rare to find a system that does what it says it can. That’s where Mary comes in. At first, she was hesitant to agree to an interview. Knowing that words have a tendency to be skewed, Mary rarely grants interviews. Also, in the daily routine of running the company, she doesn’t have the time to sit and respond to every question I had. But since we had known each other previously, Mary agreed to speak with me knowing that I would report nothing but the real truth. Over the next few months, I will be holding one-on-one interviews with Mary Gersten. This will be the first in a weekly series of interviews and tours throughout the Global Cash Flow Network offices. Through that time, I will be learning more about Mary Gersten and her business ideals. I will report those interviews here, giving the public an opportunity to learn the details about this leading business mind. I’ll share the depth of Mary’s great story, and how she rose from a failure to become what she has today. This will be Mary’s chance to speak directly to the public. I’ll learn about the Certified Media Placement Specialist program, the ins and outs of the system, the way it works and what they do. For now, I can say that in my research I’ve learned of the great success that Global Cash Flow Network and the Certified Media Placement Specialist program has fostered, essentially revolutionizing this industry. By showing clients how to place media off and on the internet, Global Cash Flow Network teaches their clients how to start and manage their own business. More importantly, by learning how to place media, the Certified Media Placement Specialist program teaches their clients marketing strategies that can be applied to any business. Lastly, I’ll report on Global Cash Flow Network and the changes that this company has brought to the industry. Check in often for updates and the latest information that I report. I invite your comments and questions, particularly those that you would like me to ask Mary. I can't promise that I’ll be able to ask them all, but I will report all sides of this great story.
